I am really excited to share with you the lesson plan writing and evaluation templates I’ve been using with our Instructors in Training (ITs) the past month. They needed something a little more detailed than The Basic Lesson Plan to write on, so I created this sheet based on one our barn already uses, and created an evaluation sheet similar in style so the ITs can see how what we evaluate directly relates to their lesson planning. This is a general template that I myself created so feel free to use it!
What lesson plan templates and eval sheets do you use?

Wow – these are so helpful! Thank you.
Thank you! A wonderful resource 🙂
Nice Job Cindy- Very comprehensive. I am definitely going to borrow this for mentoring.
These blogs are very helpful! What do you use as an initial evaluation tool?
Hi! I’m glad you find them helpful. Here are two posts I did about the initial evaluation that you might find helpful:

I’m a oollege student that is going for her PATH and CHA certification and I’m having some issues understanding how to set goals in a lesson and how to write out an objective and well as the difference between all those things and teaching a skill. Any help would really mean a lot!
