There are so many interesting helpful articles out there in internet lands. I have been inspired by DesignMom’s “A Few Things,” and am going to periodically start posting interesting links that relate to TR and riding instruction in general. I have a huge bookmarked list of “that would be nice to read…later” links to sort through, and my goal is to actually read them and post the ones I find interesting!
Here are a few links I’ve been wanting to share:
~ It’s fall break! Which means a week of horse camp for many barns. I just pinned a bunch of horse craft ideas to the LessonsinTR Ideas Pinterest Board!
~ Teaching Leg Yielding 1 and Leg Yielding 2 from a great blog for riding instructors I just discovered, The Rubber Curry Comb.
~ The Turning Aids, a half chapter from the book “Master Dressage – The Basics” by Peter Dove & Mary Wanless. I did buy the book.
~ Tips for Teaching Tyke Riders – I love her focus on exercises at the halt to build confidence!
Okay, I think four is enough. Hope you had a great week!
