For a Rocking Upper Body: Beanie Babies on Shoulders

We did this today for one of our riders who has trouble keeping her upper body still.

After reviewing the skill (steering) and practicing it a little, we added the challenge of beanie babies on her shoulders. Her goal was to keep her upper body still enough they didn’t fall off. Surprisingly this worked great for most of the lesson! You could do this with bean bags or anything similar.

She dropped the skunk once. I guess he was too smelly!
