Pumpkin Game

My friend Carrie sent me this great pumpkin game! I can’t wait to try it. Thanks Carrie!

Supplies

  • mini pumpkin gourds – write on the bottom the skills your riders are working on

The Pumpkin Game

  • Put them on the fence posts. Have students ride to each one, Work on remembering which pumpkins haven’t been chosen yet.
  • Or, write numbers on the tops and put them all on a barrel. Have the student pick which number pumpkin they want, turn it over to discover the skill, then practice the skill.
  • Idea: after they read the skill, you hold on to the pumpkin. When they complete the skill the best they can, they get to toss the pumpkin into a basket or bucket – a cornucopia would be even better!
